Welcome to Trizma team!
Your first day at work, a colleague from the Employee Development Department will welcome you. She will tell you all about Trizma and our values. Also, she will introduce you to other teams, show the whole Trizma space. She will give you more details on the projects on which we work. And other exciting things that exist with us. Of course, you will also meet colleagues on your team.
After meeting the colleagues and after introducing to your chair and desk, you will start learning what you will do and what tasks you will perform. In that process, you have the support of your colleague, who is your mentor. With the help of your mentor and according to the plan, you will master everything you need, to perform right in your position.
The first day will surely be a day with a lot of novelty. Most likely, on that day, there will be moments when you will feel confused. And that’s all OK. Just say when you’re overwhelmed. And be open to asking, whenever there is something unclear – as many times as you need. Do not be shy.
When do I start with a job?
The first day at work, in fact, is the first day of your trial period in your work. It is a period of intensive training on the job, where after starting the introduction of the job task, you are performing and guided by a mentor. It is a period in which you begin to acquire practical knowledge of your project. In that time, the focus is on providing support so that you master everything as simple as possible.
After a trial period, which lasts from 3-6 months (which depends on the position itself), follows an assessment of how you deal with work tasks and how fitting into the team goes on. This assessment is your first performance evaluation of the work you have done. Your team leader does this. You and your team leader go together through all that is important for the first months at work: how you acquired the knowledge about the job, what were the most significant challenges, how well you have adapted to a new work environment, etc. Together you define what is need to be done in the next period to make further improvements and how to do that.
